Work your way through the gears for an unforgettable experience driving 16 of Europe's top 20 mountain passes in a classic Porsche. Not just any classic Porsche but all the 5 air-cooled generations from 1960-1995.

The scenery will be nothing but spectacular, the cuisine interestingly varied as we pass through 4 countries and the hotels' and surrounding architecture visually enchanting.
 
The roar of the flat-6s will no doubt fuel your adrenaline throughtout the week as we wind our way up and down the mountains.  With full concentration required to navigate the endless curves, rest assured that you will be fully engaged with the task at hand and enjoying 2000+kilometers of

Setting the pace for this intense and spectacular week, we hit the road with a 4 hour drive once formalities are out of the way. 

​

Heading south-east towards the Austrian Alps, rest awaits amidst a gorgeous setting of the Amaron Neuschwanstein with the famous castle nesttled in the background.

The day starts with a visit to Neuschwanstein castle to answer all the questions you had the night before, when you stared in awe of this magnificent work of art. 

​

The excitement continues as we cross over to Austria with a quick drive up Fern Pass in search of captivating views for lunch.

​

The Tyrol awaits and a leisurely uphill drive takes us to the pretty tyrolean village of Stumm, 550m above sea level.

Climb climb climb.  A spectacular day of scenic driving through the Austrian tyrol using Gerlos Pass with a break at Zell-am-See, before  proceeding to  to the famed Grossglockner, reaching a height of 2000+meters.

 

Choose the 356 if exercise is what you are looking for, as this route requires you to work the gears with its many bends and captivating landscape.

​

Soak in the snowcapped mountain views over lunch before we descend towards Italy.

Good Morning Italy!

 

Five famed passes await your skills  to tame their twists and turns on this 400km route, our longest on this trip.

​

We start with the Gardena and Giau passes, followed by Falzarego & Valparolo pass before stopping for lunch.  Timmelsjoch pass folllows in both directions the afternoon!

 

The breathtaking scenery will attempt to distract you from the bends ahead so choosing where to look will be a continuous dilemma for the day!

An early start is required for this challenging 6 1/2 hour driving day as we zig-zag between Italy and  Switzerland, starting with the revered Stelvio pass.

​

We maintain elevated heartbeats traversing the Swiss Alps via Bernina Pass before heading to the beautiful lakeside town of Locarno, with the engaging routes of Maloja, Splugen and San Bernadino passes. 

​

Lake views are the rewards for the day's hard work as you rest at the lakeside Hotel Maggiore and dine at Osteria del Centenario, renown for their innovative desserts. 

​

After 1500km over the last few days, second home like familiarity in the cars means you can dive like James Bond, or at least pretend. 

​

Today's Swiss adventure promises to be nothing short of spectacular. First, the century old Gotthard Pass beckons with its legendary twists and turns.

 

Lush green valleys give way to sheer granite walls adorned with cascading waterfalls

as we descend onto Susten Pass while Gimsel Pass brings us through narrow lanes that wind through alpine meadows dotted with wildflowers. 

​

But the adventure doesn't end there. The Furka Pass awaits, notorious for its challenging hairpin bends where each turn reveals a new tableau of Alpine splendor. 

​

As the sun begins its descent, we arrive at the Waldstatterhof, a charming inn nestled on the shores of Lake Lucerne. The warmth of its timbered facade and the promise of Swiss hospitality welcome us after a day filled with exhilarating drives and breathtaking vistas.

First stop: Rapperswil-Jona, a charming town along the shores of Lake Zurich to find the quaint charm of Rare Street Coffee set amidst cobblestone streets of old-world charm and modern vitality.

 

Fueled by caffeine, we head towards Andelfingen, a cinematic journey, with sweeping vistas of rolling hills and distant vineyards. before arriving at Autohalle, a renowned lunch spot that promises classic car memorabilia. 

​

A final picturesque route back as we reflect over the past week of exhilerating moments and the memories created.
